Benicàssim has a climate that offers a wide range of things to do to enjoy a great holiday for both sun and beach lovers as well as for those who prefer sports and nature. It has almost 7 kilometres of fine sand beaches, with many tourist services, which is proven by the European Blue Flag Award for Clean Beaches. These beaches from north to south are: Voramar, Almadraba, Torre Sant Vicent, Els Terrers and Heliópolis.

Benicàssim offers a wide range of cultural variety, with a special mention being given to the area of the Desert de les Palmes with its Carmelite monastery and nearby ruins of the Castle of Montornés. You can visit the parish church of Saint Thomas of Villanueva with interesting oil paintings, as well as the museums that the city has on offer. Castellón de la Plana is located close by; the capital of the province offers the visitor a multitude of museums and chapels surrounded by orange trees.

You can hike on the slopes of the natural area of the Desert de les Palmes where on a sunny day you will be able to see the Columbretes Islands in the distance.
